I found a deal on a set of 30lb injectors( I know is too much for what i'm running now)and calibrated proflow MAF for 30lb for $250. I dinked up a couple of the caps to the stockers so I need something else.

You can buy pintle caps at NAPA for six bucks. No need for injectors/MAF unless you're making lots more power than you are now.

Mikey94gt...

The car would not run well at all. It will be getting way too much fuel.

Have you ever seen what happens to a cylinder that gets washed with fuel?

only way the 30's would work would be with some serious shortening of pulse-width. It's a lose lose....if you turn down the pressure, your idle quality falls to shit due to sloppy spray pattern (which will already be there a little). If you turn it up to improve idle quality, you need to further reduce duty cycle which in a case like this would warrent a useless tune.

Collect parts but don't install until absolutly necessary. Remember, you can still drive a turbo car w/ 19s if you absolutly keep your foot out of the throttle when heading to your tuner.

i'm gonna stick with some 19lbs ones from summit. I've got a steeda #19 cam, typhoon intake, bbk 65mm throttle body, upr cold air intake, bbk shorty headers,x pipe no cats, and 40 series flows but still have the shitty stock e7 heads. would it be better to go up to the 24lb injectors?

If your going to add heads very shortly then 24 might do you more good by saving some money down the line.
19's are good for 300 or so HP, but it seems a shame to buying 2 sets when you could put that other cash towards heads and do it in one go.

Put injectors in when you get bigger heads and make more power, not before.

As has been mentioned, 19lb injectors are good for 300 hp. I'm going to try them on my HCI 306 for my notch to see if they'll cut it.
