Does Anyone remember The GT/SC?

Does anyone remember the GT/SC cars? They were '96 to '98 GTs with a Vortech Strim the SVO side exhaust, Saleen SR Double stackwing and some side stripes that said GT/SC. Me and some old school Mustang buddies were talking about them and no one could find anything about them on the internet. We can't recall what company made them.

Roots GT/SCs interesting! The one I saw was a Vortech.

I don't recall ever seeing a Mustang like this. You sure it wasn't just a dealer package add-on? Only real GT/CS I've ever seen where like 07+

Ok just to clear up my post...

I have only seen one done once and it was on the showroom floor of a local ford dealership. It was bad ass to say the least back then. I am not sure if it was a custom option from the dealer or an independant company. Think of it like when Roush started suppling the dealers for putting parts on.

Now if I remember right.... Saleen started out with the Vortech superchargers on thier cars and then later switched to the roots. But it had nothing to do with the GT/CS model.

yes, vortech was the choice for saleen since the beginning. then when the new edges came out saleen developed their own roots style blower.

Weren't they the 4.6 SC? I remember a tuner car in MMFF or 5.0 that had the Saleen Spoiler and the Vortec with a Steeda suspension. I don't remember it having the side exhaust though.

The Shinoda Boss SN95 had side exhaust and a Paxton SN-93 supercharger. That's the closest thing other than the Saleen that I've seen.

The SN95 Boss 429 concept has been my obsession forever, I would have loved one of them... but never with the price tag. Some light reading if you guys don't already know...

Thanks for the link, I have never heard of those.
They were pretty close to that just add the Saleen Double stack, GT/SC side stripes and a Vortech.
