Yes, you'll most likely have to change the transmission gear though.

I have a 95 GT. My gauges are from a 94-95 Cobra. Went 150 to 160. It was about 5 MPH faster, even before I switched over. When I bought my EL Glow's, they are for a 96-98. That equaled it out, though. It's maybe off 1-2 MPH, not bad though.

so how do i fix it to be precise on the milage?

replaced mine with one out of 1994 cobra no problems dead on the money with my gps by speed just plug and play no gear changes

You can change the gear in the tranny or in the speedometer unit very easily...search for the info on the gears to select the correct one or buy an electronic speedometer correction unit Ford Racing had one.
