Ok, lately I've been noticing that with the pedal to the floor the power doesn't come smooth. But if I lift off the throttle a little the power feels stronger and tons smoother. What could be wrong with it?

Spark at WOT maybe? Have you cleaned your MAF and throttle body, as well as run a fuel system cleaner? I've even heard of a vacuum leak causing that.

Cleaned MAF a couple weeks ago, definitely helped with my misfire. This just doesn't feel "healthy" at WOT

My car does that same shit, It seems faster if I roll into the throttle vs going to the floor. I want to know how to fix this too.

I would check the TPS voltages from closed to WOT. Should be a smooth progression with no flat spots. If the ECU doesn't know where the throttle is it may well feel like a fuel issue.

Also, when I'm idling ever 4-5 seconds the rpms jump from around 600-700rpm to about 1000rpm. I have stock internals though, so it's not like i have a lopey cam

they sell fuel pressure testers, and part stores have some that you can use for free with a deposit.

or you get a fuel pressure gauge.

That's also a very likely cause.

test it, probe it then use a multimeter to check voltage. how are the plugs and coils?

is check the tps first. it COULD be fuel but then again id think youd feel this through the powerband if it was a failing fuel pump..how olds the fuel filter? and what brand and octane do you use? we did a study in school and cheaper brands i.e wally world and sheetz(places like that) carried more trash etc and stopped up the filters ALOT quicker then shell and BP(i also drove 9 hours every couple weekends and could tell a BIG difference in mileage ;) )

and for the idle issue do the 5.0s have a IAC valve? havent ever messed with one..id check for a vac leak as well. a vac leak will cause a rough idle

I recently replaced my tps and was amazed how much better it drove after that. As they said with a voltmeter it only takes a few mins to check it out but That is where I put my money.
