I don't think you'll get much, if anything.

I bought my Cobra when I was 19 and in college. I worked my ass off to pay for it, and had to scrape together a dollar here and there to afford small things like a CAI or plug wires. I'm 27 now and I just started making good money in the last couple years, allowing me to start making all the things I pictured in my head for so long become a reality. I don't think in the past 8 years I ever thought anyone would donate a dime to me.

Be glad you have the car, thats more than a lot of people have. Enjoy the car for what it is, tinker here and there, wax the living crap out of it, rack up some miles and bide your time. You'll get it the way you want, all in good time... you just have to be patient.

Join the club kid. I'm 33 Ive had 5 Mustangs to date and none of them have ever been completed. Im 8K deep into the one I have now (not counting buying price) will break the 10K mark this spring and am still a year away before its "done" so I know how you feel but your situation is not any different from where any of us started out. Being you only have a part time job and some bills and have school probably equals out to those of us who have full time jobs and tons more in bills so it evens out. You need to save what you can when you can. To do a 351 Forged block and Twin turbos is pretty much a pipe dream considering your situation. You said you wanted a Cobra clone, then you want a Forged 351 with twin hair dryers. To do all that your looking at $10K easy. Set your goals a little lower for what you want to do for right now.

+1

Im 24 on my 5th mustang, none have ever been completed they way i had wanted them to be and due to being out of work for a year and a half i had to take my last project car that i had almot 13k into and part it out.Now im working a Tire Tech job max pay with minimum hours (25 a week) Making less money then i made when i stared working at 15 with bills rent and to many hobbies, Thank god my two mustangs i have now are paid off or id really be up a creek.

We have all been in your shoes and know where your coming from but you have to look at it this way your young and have plenty of time to plan and save your money for the parts you want, atleast that way you will appreciate your car more then just taking a hand out from some guy with "deep pockets".

Now that i have had some time to think about it i might send you a hacksaw to cut them springs its sitting like a 4x4...

But seriously i would take that $156 you got and save it and get your hands on a set of lowering springs that will improve the looks and the way the car handles and rides that alone should keep you happy till you can save up enough cash to get the next part, Believe me if i had something you could use and i did not need it i would send it your way but im cleaned out of the majority of my SN95 parts for now...

im 19 making 900 a month working and hardly any of it goes into my car. most goes to insurance and a car payment. so get to school, and put a tarp on the car if you cant afford it.

Why don't you go around your neighborhood or surrounding areas doing a bottle drive. Would be surprised at how many people will give up bottles just to get rid of them. I am not one b/c I scrape together any $20 here or there I can such as from bottles and put it into a mod fund but its just an idea.

yeah anything like that. I think thats why someone threw out the liberal comment before b/c you just wanted someone to hand you over money or throw out a collection jar at a car show, nothing wrong w/ that but its much more rewarding to put some hard work and effort behind something when it all pays off.

man that would be totally crazy if you were to go and do something crazy like GET A FREAKIN JOB like everyone else does no matter of race, color, creed rather then just sitting there and begging!

This post started off stupid but then making comments like that it is amazing to think it is going downhill.
