any one want to give some donation money for my project to get completed? anything will help lol..im 18 years old working a part time job and going to college full time...we barely have enough money for bills and i just spent over 2k for colelge including buying books and supplies...my dream is to transform my 1995 vs mustang into the cobra of my dreams.....i would love to have the 96-98 cobra rear bumper and front bumper with boss shinoda front spoiler and the cobra rear spoiler with svo style side exhaust system....my dad already gave the 5.8l 351w out of a 1996 ford f150...but its still in the pick up truck cuz i dont have the cash to rip it out and start working on getting it in my car..nor do i have the right experience...i was planning on getting aluminum heads, forged pistons, forged everything, comp cams, the works,,,then i was going to twin turbo it. but that dream has to wait because the money has to go to more important things right now...and to make things worse my moms health is not getting better and she is always a concern to the family...dont get me wrong i love her to death.....IF ANY ONE WOULD LIKE TO DONATE MONEY OR PARTS OR ANYTHING TO MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE IT IS GREATLY APPRICIATED. all i do when i go to sleep is picture my car completed with me driving it. all i do during the day is find out what my car needs and what would work for it..all i ever think about is my car,,, she was my first love and always will be no matter how many girlfreinds or wifes i have... this car will always be there for me....thank you for hearing me out just had to get it off my chest.. i know that i will probably be on my own for this project but it was worth a shot voicing my self out to the sn95 world to see what others have to say.. thanks for your time guys

I have been unemployed for over a year suffering from some digestive issues hoping to get on enemployment but I have never considered begging from strangers to fund my car projects.

I mean bro get a part time job and do a little at a time and I mean a twin turboed 351 with forged everything? damn thats gonna be a lot of money. We all have dreams about what we want to do to our cars. I want to get my car painted but nope some one asshole keyed it so I got custom pin stripeing and their aint nothing I can do about it. but I mean if you get a job work on your car when you can. Im not trying to sound like a jerk but these guys have their projects to work on too and like Justang said prioritize projects you cant always constantly work on your car but begging for money only works if you're Obama.

Join the club kid. I'm 33 Ive had 5 Mustangs to date and none of them have ever been completed. Im 8K deep into the one I have now (not counting buying price) will break the 10K mark this spring and am still a year away before its "done" so I know how you feel but your situation is not any different from where any of us started out. Being you only have a part time job and some bills and have school probably equals out to those of us who have full time jobs and tons more in bills so it evens out. You need to save what you can when you can. To do a 351 Forged block and Twin turbos is pretty much a pipe dream considering your situation. You said you wanted a Cobra clone, then you want a Forged 351 with twin hair dryers. To do all that your looking at $10K easy. Set your goals a little lower for what you want to do for right now.

look kid I was just kidding! please don't take my comment personally, but I thought I should be kinder and should offer some advise.

Unlike most of the people on here I am part of the minority... I am 38 years old!

I didn't buy my cobra new, It doesn't have tons of mods, and as a father of 4 I struggle between buying little odds and end's for mu car and buying what is necessary for my family.

I wanted a 4v Cobra new but could never get one ( family always first) so when the opportunity came up almost 15 years later I did it. You are in school, enjoy your ride as it is now! once you graduate then make your dream of a project car come true! priorities always first! just a rule to live by, right now you should be happy you have such a nice car, perks of living in Florida  you can drive that baby any day unlike our Northern friends. So always remember there is nothing wrong with putting things on hold and doing them later...

Look bud..Im 17 right now, my car was totalled when I bought it. It was a 94 GT auto with 68xxx miles on it. Completely stock down to the airbox. I'm on year 4 right now, so far I have a cobra intake, trickflow stage 1 cam, cai, msd ignition, 4.10s waiting to be installed and some suspension stuff. If you're real interest is cars, why not go to school for it. That's what Im doing, buy a nice DD and use your mustang through school. I have a 5.8L block waiting for a turbo...but right now Im looking at school and keeping my 15-16 year old car running strong. So just keep your head up and hey, you got ~$150 at a carshow. Keep that money, make your car a little better looking and keep that jar. You will be surprised what shows up in donation jars.

Ok enough. If the kid wants to post and ask fro a collection then have at it. We dont need to be disrespectful because we dont agree with his plan to fun his project. I personally wouldnt, yet when I ask people for help they give me free parts/service intrade for another service so it works out.

Good luck with your build and the bashing and rude comments are done.

Well said Duffy. Theres not much difference in what this kid is doing then anyone going to vendors asking/looking for sponsorships. I wish the kid the best and if I could help him out I would just for the simple fact that I love to see younger people get into stangs and I want to see them stay in it and not get burnt out or dicouraged and go another direction.

To the OP, keep your dreams alive and dont give up till you have what you want!!!
