Door handle regulator?

My pass door handle is no longer working. On the inside, I mean. My mechanic says I need a pass side door handle regulator. Anyone know of a place where I can buy one at? The local parts store does not have them! It goes up to a 93 or something. Thanks!!

I would get one from a junk yard. Otherwise it most likely will be a Dealer part only.

Sorry, I forgot! I called a ford lot and found what I needed! There is quite a bit that can go wrong. My mechanic was told to take off the door panel so he can see it better! Thanks! I want to buy new, if I can.

What is a door handle regulator anyway? Never heard of that before.

The local part's store guys messed up on what my mech told them. A regulator is for the window itself. The 1st thing that ford service asked me is if it was a manual or electric? My brain is jacked up anyhow! That question really threw ass for a loop! That is when they said it could be a # of things. The cable could have snapped, either end could have came off, there is a list he gave my mechanic to look @. Thanks for trying. I forget all about asking the ford service place!

The handle. You can pull the handle, but it does not 'grab' and open the door. I rarely have anyone in that seat though! There is no real rush to get it fixed!
