I have a 2002 GT that does not have a keyed door lock . So when the battery decided to call it quits I had to crawl through the trunk to get the door open . Being 72 years old it was not fun . Does anyone know if some came from the factory that way or did the previous owner decide to remove it and fill in the hole . I thought I would check here before taking off the door panel . Thanks

It should have been standard and only on the drivers door. Perhaps someone shaved it for looks.

If you need help programming remotes let us know. Its quite easy to do.

Usually, when door handles and/or locks are shaved, a hidden connector is installed for just your situation so a battery can be connected and the electric locks (and/or door popper) can be activated. I've typically seen them installed in wheel wells and under bumpers.
