I can confirm you can remove those. The locks are physically the same, just that arm is different. Those lock cylinders will even work for the cars with the PATS sensors. To remove them there is a c clip on the back. Just get a flathead screwdriver or a pick and pop it off. Make sure not to lose it since they tend to fly all over the place when removed. Take the old arm off, replace woth the correct one, then install the c clip again. The arm can only be put on one way due to the arrangement of the hole, so you dont have to worry about getting those mixed up either.
