My unlock-lock button on the driver side is not functioning, I have another door switch with the window buttons included, none of the wires are in it though. How do I install this new one??

thanks.

the hrns is held onto the door cup with two screws. To remove the door cup use a pic/pry tool to gently pull the top portion towards you(horozontally), once that is done then pull the bottom portion up(vertically). Take the screws out and the hrns will pull right off. Repeat in the oposit steps to put back together.

The door locks in our cars is a funny system called a 5-wire-reverse-polarity sytem and can be a little tricky to diagnose what is really wrong. It uses a master/slave switch combination where the advantage is that it doesn't need relays(cheaper) but the disadvantage is that it can be a PIA to diagnose problems with. Don't be suprised if when you put it on that you have the same problem, if so hit me up and we will work through it.

Why would you need to rewire the switches? The harness unplugs from the old ones and plugs directly into the new ones

No you remove the screws and the whole harness comes off. You will see when you remove the screws and pull up. The harness is contacted to a board like type system. All you do is it pop it onto the new switch and re tighten the screws and your done. No messing around with wires at all.. even though it looks like you mess with the wires.. you dont
