With Ford day just around the corner out here I'm in the market for a set of strip tires so I can connect. I was wondering if I could get away with the Nitto NT555 tire or should I go for the Nitto drag radial. I won't be daily driving on either but there is a price difference of about 20 bucks between the 2. Thanks

Depends on the traction you want, and the amount of life you want out of your tires. The DR's are gonna grab and go better, but they don't last for shit. The street tires aren't going to hook as well, but they'll last far longer. Depends what your lookin for man.

Me personally, I'd get the streets. But I daily mine most of the time. DR's I think you get about 10k of use IIRC

If you want strip only tires go DR, if you want tires you can daily drive on don't. Any wet at all and DR's are like driving on ice.
