im going to be goin to the track on saturday and its my first time....ever..and i do own drs...i have used em before on the street..when i race on the streets(i know i know but the closest track is 2 hours away and it sucks..alot) i usally run with my tires at 18psi..is that a good psi to run at the track? what do you guys suggest? they are nitto nt555r

I like mine as low as I can get them... you wanna get those large shoulder blocks flat on the ground. Thats where the traction is. Not the middle.
I run mine between 10-13 psi and give them a long hard burnout... at least 8-10 seconds.

on the street and on the track are night and day. i ran with slicks on the streets and couldnt grab, then on the strip i about crap myself... . . .. . (obviously slicks and drs are different, but i just wanted to stress that the street is a much different environment than the strip)

i suggest starting at what you're familure with. (18) this removes variables that you're not used to on youre first run. change it from there.
