drive shaft safety??????

was watching the Rides making of eleanor at unique performance and they use a U shaped bracked under the front half of the drive shaft to ensure if the u joint fail the shaft will not be able to drop forward and flip the car while at speed.

where can i find this product for an sn95? is it a universal product?

what is it called. . . . . ??

They are called Driveshaft Safety loops, and they are a necessary precaution if you ever plan on running slicks at a dragstrip, they won't let you run slicks without one. I got a universal one at a local racing store for cheap, but had to pound the $#!^ out of it to get it to fit properly. I'd just recommend buying one made for our cars from AM or LMR.

not expensive either. there are a few drag strips that require them with certain times
