its been a PITA ever since i bought the car... i just replaced the u-joints... and it helped, but it goes into a crazy vibration at 80+mph. I dont know what to do now, and have tried a FMS alum. driveline as well with almost no improvement.... Any Ideas?

pilot bearing is what the trans input shaft rides in, inside of the crankshaft. if there is too much play inside of the bearing then you could get some vibs. and again is the vibs speed, or rpm related

Hi Mike,
I used a hood and shaker setup on my 94. I had to cut the alum. bracket and mounted it to my alternator. The 04 hood didnt line up perfect. But it was sweet to see the torque of the engine move the scoop.

yeah i did a google of your name and found some up close pictures. man, you really did a number on that car. Why didn't you just buy the CDC shaker hood assembly and modify it to work?

Sounds like I'm in the same league as u guys, I also get an awful vibration going 80+ then it goes away when I speed up even more, but when comming down again to that 80mph+ range the vibration is there.

i have this too. my rear tires were slightly out of balance, that helped but its still there. i'm going to have the driveshaft balanced one of these days to rule that out. also there is some talk about the driveline symmetry being not lined up. basically if you have the tranny hanging at the wrong angle it can cause a vibration but i don't know if i believe that....
