dumb P.I. intake ?

What Size hole do I need to tap into the Xover and does it need to be welded? Also How or when will I need to know if I have to tke the water pump off to change nipples??


Thanks and I am sure it has been answered and I did use the search button but didnt find any thing..

if you have the aluminum Xover you can unbolt it and bolt the npi one from your old intake onthere that way you dont have to drill hope this helps

3/8-18 NPSF with Pipe Thread, and no you don t have to Need to have anything welded.

if you look at the PI intake crossover, you can see where the place is for the second sensor, theres allready a "boss" on it to drill into and tap. its pretty much in the opposite place of the one thats allready there on the intake.

but some people just have a bung welded on the top of the T-stat housing and put it there. but those are mostly the guys that didnt get a Aluminum crossover PI intake, since the T-stat housing is metal regardless of intake material.

Well I will have to drill and tap the.. Hey Willis my NPI Intake didnt pr doesnt have Alum cross over on it..
