ok yesterday took the car to the dyno and it made 255rwhp and 281 tq at 6200 rpm

you lose about 20% of your power through teh drivetrain. although horse power tv did a royal purple swap of ALL fluids from oe on a 00ss and they did actually gain hp from it. ie they lowered the % loss through the drivetrain

well think of it this way stock your under 200rwhp prob( around 160rwhp-190rwhp)depending auto. manual for stock gt rwhp, so more like a 55rwhp gain for pi swap /bolt ons, which is about 80 crank hp gain @ the motor . cause you dynoed 255rwhp, so say stock is 190rwhp, thats about 80crank hp gain. :thumbsup:

depending whats cams / heads you do , if your doing a 5.4 swap, make it worth it and do ported heads/ aftermarket. custom 5.4 cams, then you will have a beast a 300-350rwhp 400rwtq n/a monster

my car didnt like royal purple oil, burned it faster then regular oil

Manuals are roughly a 15% drive train loss

Autos are roughly a 20% drive train loss

with a 5.4 2v block and my stock 99 pi h/c/i can i see like 280 285 rwhp and 320 330 tq ? keep in mind i just have a few bolt ons like air filter and x pipe with magnaflows and 4:10s thats it

Well generally if your car is burning dino oil it will burn synthetic shit like RP more.

ya i dunno when i use regular oil it seems to be a little better but i will burn a little between oil changes
