dyno tuning

hey guys, after pi intake/ cam swap on a supercharged car, i need a tune..it's running kinda rough at low rpm/speed. i'm looking to you all for some tips about dyno tuning and shops. i don't have any mustang guys as friends at least in person who live near-by and i don't run in a stang club or any of that. i don't know of any dyno/tuner shops here in las vegas, and i have asked around. you would think that the shops by the las vegas motor speedway would do civilian cars, but they don't. i really don't know the first thing about getting a dyno tune. would i need an sct/diablosport tuner beforehand? how much does it cost? do i need another tune if i disconnect my battery? do you know any tuner shop in LV or know anyone who lives out here? google search on "las vegas dyno shops" turns up nothing. there has to be some here somewhere...

SCT and Diablo are the two most reputable companies when it comes to tuning software.
I myself am partial to SCT because of the customer support from SCT, UPDATES (which Diablo isn't too keen about) and the variability of the software.
SCT offers two options, either an actual chip that is placed into your computer or a handheld tuner that plugs into your diagnostic port (kind of acts as an external hard drive, saves all the information and uploads it to your computer). You don't need a re-tune when you disconnect the battery. I prefer, and have, the handheld unit (which is called an Xcalibrator) because I can take it to my tuner and he can make changes without the car being present.
You'll need to find a dyno shop that has experience with either SCT or Diablo, and hopefully they have experience tuning mustangs or Fords.

Going rates for the Xcal are ~$379 (what I paid for my Xcal2), dyno time varies by shop but they usually charge by the hour unless you rent it out for a set amount of time; for example my shop charges $75 for 3 pulls with air/fuel monitoring and printouts. As far as actual tuning expense, that varies on the shop and the competency of the tuner.
