My front e-barke cable snapped, and I was wondering if I would need to remove the handle assembly to wind the spring back? If so how do I wind the spring??

put it in a vise, pull and cuss ALOT. its a pain in the ass, make sure you have a pin handy to lock the spring back. should have to wind it 2-3 times. to tell ya the truth, now is a good time to upgrade to a cobra e-brake handle. looks good, and its already wound for ya. just bolt it in, connect the cables, then pull the pin

Going to sound like a dumb question but are our e-brakes really supposed to do anything?
I can pull mine ALL the way up going like 50 and it doesn't really do much but make it very very slowly slow down ahah

yeah yours might need a little adjustment.. your ebrake, if working properly, would cause you to get
a new rear bumper from someone slamming into you at 50 mph. i would look into adjusting that.
