OK... so im in a dilema... I asked a few ppl about these E6SE heads... they told me they were an awesome head because of the heart shaped chambers. So i went ahead and bought them....they now have $1200 into them, Plained, Port&Polish, 3 angle valve job, new Crane valves, springs, retainers, roller rockers..etc etc etc. And now im reading that some ppl say that these things are nothing but junk,. some ppl say theyre awsome others say stay away.... im just wondering if anyone knows about these heads, they goin on my 95, I have a Typhoon upper and lower intake and elbow, 65mm TB, 24 lb injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 70mm massair calibrated for the 24's , full exhaust, BBK CAI and im waiting for the custom ground cam and pushrods. The bottom end is gone to get bored and balanced....I was planning on useing these heads but now im kinda gettin scared taht i wasted my $$ what do you guys think??? im hoping that its like most everything else how some ppl say they are good and other ppl hate them, most things seem to be that way, some ppl actually know what they are talkin about and others are just throwin there opinions out there. not positive but i think that is a for casting #
Oh dont worry im gonna run them lol....if they dont work they will look nice sittin on a shelf in the shop, nice annodized blue haha.. and i didnt put the 1200 in them... I got them for $300, the guy i got them from had them done and put on at the shop and he didnt make it 1km up the road when the bottom end blew all to hell on him so he took the heads off and sold the car, he had all the reciepts there for what he had into them. I just figured id buy them i mean $300 is $300 the rockers alone were more than that, aluminum ones are in the very near future anyways.
