can anyone link me to a diagram of the emergency brake system?

a few weeks ago i was driving in the pouring rain and the roads looked like one giant puddle. then i actually hit a puddle i didnt see going about 30mph , wasnt a big puddle but after i parked the car i pulled the ebrake all the way up and it didnt engage.
i checked under the car, the cables seem fine, i checked under the center console and pulled the cable and it didnt seem broken. i cannot see where the rest of the cable goes or where it splits into two, and i have no idea how to fix this. anyhelp would be appreciated

I have the same issue, I park on a steep incline and I need it to work but it just doesn't. Someone mentioned a while back that you have to take apart the center console and fix it from there.

Wish it was like my bro's just adjusting the line from the brakes.

Simply a stretched e-brake cord is all it is.

The e-brake cable splits into 2 in the trans tunnel above the d.s..
If the short cable in the console is broken it CAN be replaced without removing the entire console.
All you need to remove is the box under the armrest. the screws are hidden under the lid bumpers.

You may or may not need to remove the D.S. to get all 3 cables hooked back together.
Just put the body on jack stands and let the rear axle hang. Depending on how flexable you are you should be able to get in there.

If you haven't done the fog light mod, now is the perfect time
