ECT sensor popped out from lower intake

I searched through the forum, but was unable to find anything related to a problem. My brother's mustang leaked coolant from the ECT sensor located on the left hand side of the lower intake. I took a look at it and to my suprise, the bung where the sensor threads in, popped out from the intake. Has anyone ever experienced or seen this before? Does my brother have to buy a new lower intake?

the ect on the lower intake manifold? i didnt know there was a ect on the lower intake manifold?

Sounds like you need to upgrade the intake manifold to a newer one with the aluminum coolant crossover.
