EFI TO CARB

JUST CHANGED MY 94 TO A CARB SET UP. MY PROBLEM IS THAT IM NOT GETTING FULL THROTTLE. IM USEING THE STOCK THROTTLE CABLE. DO I NEED A THROTTLE CABLE FROM A 85 MUSTANG? PLEASE HELP CAUSE IM READY TO PUT A 225 SHOT ON THIS LITTLE 302..

I believe you do need a throttle cable from an '85.

Yea, use an 85 GT throttle cable. I just swapped my 94 v6 to carbed, 1 hole on the firewall doesnt line up correctly. I just used a small bit the size of the old retaining bolts and put the bolt back through. I'm curious as to how you even used the stock cable?

i didn't have a problem with holes lining up. it was perfect, just wasn't getting full throttle. going to put the 85 cable on now as i speak so i can go kick some but.
