EGR QUESTION

I GOT A QUESTION ON MY 95 GT, I GOT A 1" SPACER I WANT TO PUT IN, WHAT SIZE IS THE TUBE THAT GOES FROM THE EGR TO THE HEADERS? ALSO WHAT SIZE IS THE FITTING GOING TO THE EGR? I WAS JUST GOING TO PLUG THE ONE AT THE HEADERS AND CAP THE EGR. I ALSO BOUGHT A BLOCK OFF PLATE AND A EGR SIMULATOR. I JUST WANTED TO MAKER SURE WHAT TYPE OF FITTING I NEED TO BLOCK IT OFF, I HAVE MAC 1 5/8" SHORTIES.

dont know if the simulator works yet, i am going to install it saturday, i will post what the results saturday. it was not a ebay seller i got it from, it was a company called Adaptive Performance, and they were cheaper than ebay.

Gotcha... yeah let me know if it works. I'd love to kill the check engine light in mine.

yeah no joke, i hate that thing i took the bulb out of the cluster cause i figure if its just the egr causing it to be on then it wont matter if something else goes bad, itll be on anyways

Yeah the ditching the EGR is pointless IMO. Unless you're doing the fox TB swap or you REALLY don't like they way it looks in the engine bay. You can just lengthen the egr yourself if it's not long enough or take it somewhere that can. Or just cut the flexible metal part off and replace it with some heater hose.

THE EGR SIM WORKED GREAT, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, CAR RUNS GOOD OTHER THAN ME FOULING PLUGS CAUSE I DONT KNOW WHERE TO SET THE REGULATOR AT!! :crazy2:
