electrical issue, help

The battery in my 95 5.0 kept dying so I figured I had a short. I checked all of the connections under the hood w/ a voltmeter and could not find any issues. The battery cables are new, so I just chalked it up to a bad battery. But today, when I turned my car off, I heard what appeared to be the hazard lights on (but they were turned off), I got out and checked and both left and right corner lamps were in fact flashing, I got back in the car and pressed the hazard light button on and they got much brighter but flashed as they should have, but when I turned them off...they stayed on again. Any ideas??

my bet is on the flasher in the interior fuse box

that's weird. sure you don't have wires showing or crossed somewhere?? :dunno:

I haven't done anything to have crossed wires. All was fine, and then this started. I'm gonna change the flasher and see if that's the issue. Thanks.
