after seeing the post about the ls1 swap, it got me thinking.
i have this engine that i acquired about 5 years ago that i have yet to do anything with. i my knowledge, i have yet to see this swap done.
i realize the amount of work that would be needed to make it work. but im up for the challenge.
its a 70 351c 4bbl headed engine. my plans were to get an all forged 393 stroker kit with 10.5 to 11.0 to 1 compression, get the heads
worked over. to put the engine in my 94 i wanna go fuel injected. the manifold would have to be drilled for injectors. i would probably go
with a F.A.S.T. management system for the engine. probably run 42lb injectors and get the elbow to allow for a fox tb. obviously i would
have to put a tubular k member in the car and get custom built headers to work. those heads flow just over 300 cfm on the intake at .600 lift as they sit and the exhaust flow about 186 cfm at .600 lift. i flowed the heads myself when i went to NTI just after i got the engine. ive got a eddy torker manifold to go on it. i think it would probably take a little more work than its worth but the coolness factor is worth it
to me. gimme all your opinions, suggestions, you can tell me im completely out of my mind if you want. lets hear it.
