Engine swap time.. 94 5L into a 92

k.. very long story but my plan is to swap my complete engine and tranny out of my 94 vert into my 92 gt (which Im taking the 351 EFI and putting into the 94)..

Will it be a direct swap to get the 94 5L into the 92? I've seen swap going the other way but dont remember seeing anything on going backwards like Im doing. Is the wiring the same? Ideally I'd like to take engine and tranny out and roll it over and put it in.. pretty sure my LT's wont work with the fox so I will need new headers. anything else?

Well the transmission is a different length, no matter which one it is for one thing, the TB is kicked off at a weird angle, there are no electric fans in a Fox.

These are thing's that come immediately to mind, I'd really need more specifics besides the years on both cars to go into any great detail.

I think you can switch just the motors and leave all the Accessories and you should be ok.

Now what about the computer thats currently in the 92, which ran the 94 351 out of a lightning. Guess I should check and see what it actually has in it. :dontknow:

im taking the tko600 out of the 92 and pairing it with my 418 and its going into the vert. So physically will the tranny fit out of my 94 into the fox?

Yes, but you may have to lengthen the DL and probably find the stock cross member and get a different output shaft, but yeah 94-95 had WCT5 and prior just T5 same case. This is a 5 speed we're talkin about right? :dontknow:
