i was just GIVEN an 89 5.0 HO motor,...complete minus computer and harness,....will this motor run off the computer and harness that came stock in my 94 gt...? or do i need specific year computer and harness for 89 motor...?

It's the same long block, just use the 94 harness.

Well the sensors in the 89 ho motor do not match the 94 harness maybe some of them but not all...match i'm sure someone else could pitch in some info...luck man

he's right some sensors may not work but just use your brackets and you should be fine.
