I cleaned the IAC twice with carb cleaner, set the voltage to 1 at idle and 4.5 at WOT on the throttle body and it still idles like garbage and shuts off every now and then. Do yall think it could be the fuel pump or filter cause I can hear the pump at idle its pretty damn loud or is it something else?

Did you try cleaning the MAF? Have you checked fuel pressure?

Clean everything. MAF, Throttle body, IAC, everything. My car got a little better after everything was cleaned but then it hit me that the reason my car was running like crap was because the previous owner threw in 24#er's on a stock motor. Runs great in the cold, but runs like doo doo in the summer

Vaccum lines probably broke into chunks and thats your problem. Look around and see if you can find any split or cracked lines.

With the key in the run position, test the voltage at the fuel pump and compare it with the battery's voltage; you should have at least 12 volts . If you don't, then there is corrosion somewhere in that wire. Corossion causes resistance, so the fuel pump may get enough power at idle, but at high rpm's there isn't enough current to supply the fuel pump with power. The electrical system is the first thing you should look at before you start replacing parts, plus it is usually alot cheaper...good luck

I say check vacuum lines and gaskets. Spray intake cleaner around any gasket areas or vacuum lines. You should be able to tell if there's a leak or not, pretty quick.
