i currently have a 302 with a cobra upper intake. gt40 lower. h w/ no cats. nothing really done to the car.

i have a set of gt40(cast iron) heads that i wanna port as much as possible. and 1.7 rr. i'm also gonna port the upper and lower as much as possible.

how much would i be able to port the heads. upper. and lower? and what would be my power around?

that will depend on the cam. ive seen over 300 to the tires with everything strategically chosen for the most efficiency. ie exhaust, pullies, good tune, correctly chosen cam. i plan on doing the same thing. as far as porting check out www.diyporting.com

With some simple bolt ons and tuning the stock Cobra motors can make around 270whp. I believe that's about what Addermk2 had his Cobra puttin down before he re-did the engine.

Neris...

That was:

- Stock panel K&N
- Pro M 75mm MAF
- 70mm TB
- GT40 intake
- GT40 heads ported with stock valves
- 1.7 Rockers
- Crane 2031
- BBK shorty headers
- Prochamber
- Flowmaster catback

My tune was fairly conservative. They could have easily gotten 270's maybe even low low 280's with more timing.

Those were different heads...that was my 92 LX. They were fully ported.

You have the heads from the 95 GT.
