So my car sat for about 4-5 months before I got it fixed. Now she has a new tranny and is back on the road, but she doesn't seem anywhere near as loud as she used to :dontknow: this just from sitting? or exhaust being finally broken in or what?

I would think it would get louder with age.

Doesn't make sense to me... Maybe some wasps built a nest in your mufflers/exhaust and are choking it off a bit? Seems weird.
Maybe the first time you installed the exhaust, you left something undone/loose.
