exhaust fitment question

I have a question maybe someone can help me out with. Will a pro chamber/X or H pipe from an 5.0 fit on a 4.6 if they are both a SN95? Yes I realize they are two different engines (new to site, not new to cars) but the pipes look identical to me. The reason I ask is because im in Germany and someone local is selling a mid pipe in perfect shape except it's for a 94-95. I just bought a 98 woop woop!! Also FYI, my friend has his own lift and welding equipment at his house so adding a couple inches of pipe would be no sweat. I would appreciate any advise before someone else buys it. Thanks guys. i would take the gamble and get it... if worse comes to worse, you can just re-sell it...

i would look at the header set up myself... make sure they match up... and make sure youre not buying a cross pipe that matches up to long tubes instead of shorties, you know?

Thanks, I seen a pic and it's definately for shortys. They have become super strict about exhaust volume, but I seen a clip on youtube of a mustang w/ stock exhaust and aftermarket H pipe. Personally I think it sounded pretty good. If I was in the USA i'd rock a full exhaust and love it!

I'm pretty sure the pipes are different, but at the very least you'll have to add O2 sensor holes since 5.0s only have 2 sensors.

MODS: Sorry I put this in the wrong place. I'll get the hang of this site. I think i'll pick it up and modify it. Maybe it won't be that hard and others can use the idea. Thanks for the help.

Great comparison pic! Man, they look so alike, but I see the different bend angles of the pipes and the flanges are in different directions. Thanks bro!
