Exhaust questions

Do the tips do anything sound wise? I was looking at an SLP exhaust and was thinking of just getting the mufflers. Their like 140. But the whole set up is like 540? Do the tips actually do anything or am I fine with just the stock ones?

Figured that. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. The stock pipe polish up nice anyway, gives that sleeper look :thumb:

The stockers are only 2 1/4, and kink pretty good over the axle. IMO, there are better things to spend money on than a catback, and if your sig mods are your only mods, no, the extra isn't worth it.

Just so you know, SLP uses shitty stainless, and it will rust like every other muffler. You'll also have to pay to have your pipes bent correctly to fit them in there, so get an estimate on that before you buy.

Are you serious? If so, google it man, they rust. Mine rusted in California, lol. The fit is awesome, best ever, but the stainless blows.

Having tips/tailpipes effect the sound big time. Actually im not sure if its just the tailpipe that change the sound, but it either both or one of those. I took my tips/tailpipes off and it changed the sound of my car big freaking time!
