The left side of my exhaust system (up front where my last 2 cats use to be, from immediately after the remaining cat back to my x-pipe) hangs a bit lower than the right side. I'm guessing that is not normal -right?

This picture (not actually of my car, obviously) has the area in question circled in red.

^^^ what he said, also are your motor mounts bad? mine are and the right side is worse so on that side the exhaust hangs lower. just a thought.

Same thing happened to me when i got my x-pipe installed. The pipe would hit the side of my frame.
It ended up just being a loose bolt. Try re-tightening everything at the exhaust flanges.

Thanks everybody for the quick replies!
My original thought was that the welding job was just off, but I sure like the idea of checking these other things. I sure want to rule-out the more serious or easy-to-fix causes.

Thanks again.

From my experience, some o/r pipes hang on the passenger side. I have a lethal X pipe now, and my mac h pipe on the passenger side was just a bit lower than the driver. The Lethal is perfect, doesn't scrap like the mac did. Check all bolts, loosen them up, get it right, and tighten! Good luck
