Hey i have a 97 3.8L and wanted to put new exhaust in it and wanted to dump it after the rear axle any pictures? suggestions? and what set up would i need to get a full exhaust from the headers back because im trying to do it for my senior project and am not sure what setup i should exactly have

you can just do a cat back exhaust.

Best sounding exhaust for a mostly stock 94-04 v6, is a dual flowmaster 40 series exhaust. have your exhaust shop make you a dual exhaust setup and if they can have them create an h-pipe right after the rear cats because that makes the mellow tone, making it sound great and keeping it away from the ricer rasp.

the mac system is easier to install if you are doing it your self, it stands up better, and has a pretty good sound, the flowmaster system is pretty good too

so if i wanted to do a cat delete would that be the same thing as getting a mid pipe? because ive looked at those and they do not have cats on them. is the mid pipe directly connected to the headers?
