explain this!

So my uncle has a 70's short bed ford pick up with a stock 50 HO in it from a 90 fox with a c4 and a 9 inch. His truck dynos with 240 at the tire and the only difference is he has a holley carb on it. Why do I have 40 horse less and I have efi? Hurry before I order a carb!

We went back to back one the dyno. Most magazine Articles make about 270 at theCrank on engine dynos with a carb during head tests and stuff. That's usually the baseline anyway.
