There is hardware that screws to the underside. I didn't take them off so I'm not certain where the hardware attaches but I can find out if need be.

They are originally mounted with plastic tabs on the inside fender lip (the part you roll for tire clearance). I think I had to break every single one of those tabs when I took them off my '96 export cobra, so the new owner will have to be creative with some buttonheads or something.

i have a 96 export cobra and mine are riveted in place. but hey i had a question on your 96 export did you have 94/95 style tails with the amber? i found a few other people with 96 exports and they had 95 tails too, im starting to see a pattern and starting to think maybe they didnt change tails for the exports until 97, because i dont have cobra style headlights either, just gt style lights and so did they.

they look incredible on white. not a fan on any of the other colors.

they didnt change export rear tails until 96/97.

I mean if you compare them to Snoballs car, they look the same in the back but the fronts are slightly different.
