Is there a write up to hook up the electric fans when you turn the key on

Are you asking for how to run the fans at all times when the key is in the on position.
If so
Get a foglight relay from the autopart store with 3 prongs, 1- switch power 2 - power 3 - power to accessory
Run a direct 12V power source to the 2 slot on the relay (look at the relay, I'm just telling you 1, 2, 3 as reference)
On mine, a mechanic spliced into the coil pack wire for the switch power. It doesn't draw anything, it just tells the relay "hey, i'm on, so, you can send power to the fan now"
And run the wire from number 3 to the power side of the fan, and ground the fan somewhere.
Piece of cake.

My fan is working but I'm not sure if its working on the high side it comes on when the a/c is on

no need for relays to power fans. ITs not a big deal to wire them up to a ignition circuit. What are you wanting to do exactly?

Just want to make sure there running so that I don't overheat until incantation replace it until next weekend

I dunno about just wiring into an ignition source without relays...I've heard of stock electric fans spiking in amps upwards of over 30A.
Just what I've heard!! Don't bash me but I did a lot of research when I did mine in my fox and I was still nervous.

I wouldn't run it from the ignition switch either. The fans draw a lot, not sure on the SN fans but my aftermarket was 30-40A and a SHO fan is 65A. Definitely run through a relay, and make sure it will handle the amperage.

When your a/c is on the fan should be on full blast no matter what.
I melted a few relays until I got a 40A capacity one. Cost me a whopppng $6.

If it makes anyone feel better, my fan finally wore out, locked up and promptly started on fire yesterday. It was awesome, made my day. luckily I was just getting home. new ones on the way........
Should I be concerned with the ccrm? The pigtail was saved and I am thinking it was just an old age issue with the brushes wearing out.

I missed his post right above mine. Yes you are correct you would need a relay if you wired it up. I was thinking much smaller fans and unsure what he was cooling.
