mmmm sam adams boston lager.
Lol, yea man springs are cake. especially if thats all your doing.
I'm a shade tree mechanic though.
Unbolt strut, lower control arm, grab spring, put new one in, jack up control arm, bolt strut down, done.
To the OP, I'd definitely recommend paying close attention if MadStang helps you install them because the best way to learn how the car works is to get your hands dirty! Plus springs are a cakewalk. I can swap out all 4 springs in less than 2 hours...so roughly a 6 beer job, LOL!
Good luck, it seems like MadStang knows his suspensions for sure, I don't know him at all, but I'm sure you're in good hands.
Brett's installing these springs? Uhoh
I kid, he knows his stuff. You have to get a good photoshoot afterwards.
Ha I don't have quad shocks silly goose
And I forgot to mention the sway bar, but that takes like a second.
I can't wait till you guys get it done.
And brett, the girls won't be a problem if I do come in april, actually. I ask that you have more over than normal ;p
BTW, Steven, are we using the isolators from the stock springs or running without? you'll be lower without them and the only downside is that they'll be prone to making a little noise over bumps and such but I never had an issue with noise when I ran oem style springs, so I suppose it's a hit or miss type of deal.
And when will you be getting shocks and struts to match the spring rate? I don't really condone driving a lowered car on stock dampers. you won't like the result unless your in a competition with low riders that scrape down the street and are bouncing' and ballin'
heres what i need installed:

all i have are the springs. no shocks/struts/cc plates/etc.
im probably going to just lower it and leave the rest of the suspension stock probably until early february/mid-march.
around that time, i'll swap out the shocks & struts.
as for the isolaters, yes, using the stock ones.
I'll help you install it but I'm not happy about it, springs should always have the correct/matched damping rate from the shocks and struts ... anyway, make sure you get an alignment right after otherwise you're gonna have uneven treadwear.
how many miles are on your car? I'm just hoping the isolators are still good and not falling apart. could make it a bitch to swap over.
