O.k so I put my car on the smog machine... at first when it was really cold, the numbers were through the roof. It was like 11000 hydros i think and like 2000 nox, I might have them mixed up... But after it warmed up it came back down, almost within tolerances but I ran out of time in class, so I took it off the machine. But I know this is a long shot, could my thermostat keep my car from going into closed loop, making the codes and richness, come with it? I'd rather replace a thermostat than o2's right now.

what thermo do you have installed?
You gotta run the car long and hard enough to get the cats really hot. the hotter the better. and I don't mean sitting and idling for 30 minutes before the test. Also don't let the car sit in the parking lot for 30 minutes or more so it has a chance to cool down.
Did you try the pulling the spout for the test?

Nah Pete, I dont need to borrow your reader, I got one myself.
And Desert, Im almost 100% sure because of a vacuum leak at the IAC motor, causing me to run rediculously lean.
