i dont have a lot of money to spend on a clutch and i need a clutch pretty bad. i want to spend less that $200 on the clutch, and i plan to have my stock flywheel resurfaced. i was just wanting some input on this clutch. i know they are a reputable company thats why i am considering this clutch.

fidanza is flaky stuff man, some of its good, some of its bad. I'd go with a stock or FRPP all day long over that. There adjustable cam gears in 4.6 cars have been known to rip themselves apart, so be weary.

i drove my 86 gt daily 50 miles and took it to the track every weekend, which was also 1/8 mile. The clutch out lasted the trans which died constantly.. lol

i like the king cobra clutch alot and have lots of friends that run them to, if you got a stock tranny its probably the best clutch to buy. i have heard a few people who work at tranny shops say that clutches like the center force stage 2 is a stock tranny killer cause it hooks up so good but thats just what i have heard

well thanks for the input guys but i think i will be going wit the centerforce dual friction 10.5. i'm getting an excellent deal on it, and if it makes my tranny break then i guess i'll have to pull that b!tch out for the 11th time lol

lol, wish i could afford that. One day i will have a T56, but thats a long way from now.

I sent the money for the Centerforce Clutch kit today. Its the Dual Friction 10.5" kit; up to 90% more holding capacity than the stock clutch (which means about 60% more than the king cobra i had.)

i plan to take it to the 1/8th again next friday. It'll be the first time i've ran it with a good clutch.
