Just curious, how much did you spend on it all together?

Sounds like a fun little motor. :D

That's not bad at all. I need to build a motor for mine, the stocker with 174000 can't have too much longer left. haha

Re: Finally! 306 Motor swap Few Pics added March 8

Well i am not where I want to be as far as progress. I could not work on the car on Saturday as I had to go to ATL for my great uncles funeral.

I was able to get the motor out today and clean the bay but that is about all I was able to get done. :BangHead: Thank the lord I decided to do this over spring break so I can take my time and do things right and do some cleaning and painting to make things look a little cleaner.

I get more nervous the closer it gets. I just hope it will start with no seezing up or something break :sad5:

Out comes ole iron head!

It's been a while since I have updated this but I have been very busy with a new job and only had little time to get stuff done so id didnt get as many pics as i wanted. I just got the car done today :headbang: It started on the first try and idles pretty good. I love the sound of the cam :icon_rr:

I hope it looks a little cleaner now. I painted a few things and cleaned and scrubed stuff, and cleaned the engine bay.

I will try to get a video up if I can

Wow that was a fast swap, looks nice! Makes me want to get money for my engine, but other things come first sadly.

Well i still have not got a vid up but I will have one up soon. I have an appt for a tune at Intune Motorsports in Clevland, TN. I cant wait to get it running top notch. Maybe it will lay down some decent numbers the nickname for Intunes dyno is "Heartbreaker" so we will see. I will take a few pic while I am there.
