Firing problem

I this Swapped my upper and lower intake out, and I cant get the car to fire I know the firing order for the 5.0 is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. The car will get to 500rpm then it will die out.. I got the distributor turned all the way to the left and been rotating it trying to get it to fire but I get nothing. Anyone have an idea what it could be?

Did you pull the spout. are you using a timing light. Did you put it at tdc when you stabed it. Double check your wires

I think thats my problem is the tdc when I pulled it, The little things you forget about when your busy

Yea that's it for sure.. I used to always forget to TDC shit and mark the rotor . When I was a youngster
