********I DO NOT CONDONE STREET RACING IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM ************ but if somebody ask for it, GIVE IT TO EM >
So I was on my way to town yesterday with my little buddy to take him to Chick Filet for a after school snack. We are on the 4 lanes approaching the Wilmington city limits and i notice a black Eclipse in my rear view. He was coming up pretty quick so I knew he was going to be a annoying pecker head :

. We make the last bend to hit the first stop light in Wilmington ( coming off the 4 lanes Hwy 17 ) he whips around the car next to me to jump ahead of him so he can be beside ME at the light. His window is down, and he gives me a cocky look ( I see him looking at my LIGHTNING badge on the fender and eyeballing my tires ( looking for stick rubber maybe :dunno: ) I'm watching the lights because I know hes going to punch it, it changes and YES he guns it........so Do I >

Thank god for them Drag radials, because they HOOK 8) 8) From the initial launch we are door to door but after the first 10ft or so the embarrassment starts :bunny3: :bunny3: I run it up to about 60mph and let off ( that took a whole 5 seconds ;D ) I had him by about a car and a half :ass3: He pulls up to me at the next light and says " damn that truck comes off the line hard " :blah2: :blah2: he ask what I have done to it I say " nothing but a shift kit " ^-^ ^-^ His eyes get about the size of a half dollar in shock, I guess hes never run a L before :dunno: :dunno: Oh and my boy was laughing the entire time saying get him dad ;D ;D I dont know what they run but he said it was a 06 GT and it must have been automatic too unless hes a super smooth shifter ??? Im supprised at how LITTLE people know about the Lightning trucks :-\, it seems the more people I run into and talk with about them the more I discover they are looked at as " just another F150 " thats a HUGE mistake, especially when you want to line up with one. These things are deadly from a dig up to the eighth mile mark, and the modified ones are deadly all the way through the quarter and beyond.
Thank god for the drags out back, if I didn't have them I know I would have been left at that first light.......smoking the tires :nonono:
