agreed. powershifting turned my silky smooth t45 into a notchy peice of junk.

Oh, i never floor this car.. never have because it doesnt go anywhere with more than 3/4 of throttle.
with that said

I usually only use 3/4 of throttle which makes it sound loud and pretty. Thats it.

and everything is breaking on me lol.

I am the original owner of my car. I bought it in early '99 but it was a final showroom car for '98. She is almost 11 years old and only 80K on the clock BUT... I have ran her hard when I do run her. Most of the abuse is the body flex for my convertible. And she's low so she has bottomed out and scraped a lot. Engine has been taken care of. Mobil 1 Syn Oil since way back, K&N oil filter every time, and K&N air filter. Royal Purple Syn for the tranny. But, she's starting to show wear. I think my TPS is going out right now cause I'm having an idle issue and it's not the IAC. I'll get it figured out soon.

Trust me, I will run this car hard. That's what I bought it for...

i love driving my car hard. but i have toned it down quite a bit recently because of my slipping 4R70W and to conserve gas. Florida is pretty boring place to drive, too flat

Drive it as hard as you want, i know my Cobra has 107,xxx very hard miles on the clock. If you find a weak point, replace it with something stronger and continue to brutalize the local roads. Have fun!

haha yes i am. im quite paranoid about these things though, so im reposting the same question to get more replies.

well give us examples of what you're wondering about and we'll (or i'll) tell you if it's abusing your car.

oh mainly things like donuts, where your tires catch you when your going sideways and the car stops and shakes..

small peel outs..

things like that.

I personally don't think that's too bad as long as its not an every day thing, small peel outs shouldn't be a problem but I'd keep donuts to a minimum.

I drive sensible. In town, @ the speed limit. On the highway I will have some fun. And mine has seen some smoke from the tires a time or two.
