Flow Tube Question

I have magnapacks sitting in my garage that I am looking to put on. The person who had the exhaust before me cut off the flow tubes and welded in 3" ones. I found a set of 2 1/2" flow tubes with the flanges so that I can just weld those in and bolt them to the h-pipe. They are for a 79-95. Will they work on my 1997 GT?
