Fog Light Mod, which is better?

I'm about to do the fog light switch thing, and saw there are two ways of doing it. One that runs on its own, and one that works with the parking lights.
Which do you guys prefer? I think if its wired on its own, you have 3 different possible settings, whereas if its wired to work with the parking lights you only have 2. Are there are pros and cons to each?

I wired it to turn on with my parking lights, this way they shut on and off with the headlight switch and I can just leave the fog light switch on all the time (no worries about leaving fogs on)

I wired mine from the vert harness so I could turn them on when ever. (only the fogs, fogs and markers, fogs and h/l, fogs and high beams.
It also goes off with the key. So I have no worry about killing the battery.

True. Although at least with either mod, its key on power, not constant. But I do see the concern of leaving them on during the day and burning out your bulbs.

Control fogs all by their self. Just get in a habit of turning them off, I forgot to once and my fogs melted my cobra lenses but wont make that mistake again.

Already done! I'll have to take some night pictures later. They are super bright.. but I've yet to get flashed for them yet either.

if you get flashed for your driving lights you did something wrong....

Its probably just the major change from stock bulbs in tinted lenses to the HID's. I've not been flashed, and I went on a test drive down a dark two lane road, cop didnt even flash me. I think that qualifies as a test right? They seem to be aimed well.
