Fog light mod?

I have a 94 Gt and I understand how to do the mod but how can I acres the convertible top switch with out removing the center console? The only write ups I can find are for cars with cup holders..any help is appriciated pics would be great too

I didnt remove the center console, just the insert part which was less then a minute to remove, then I pulled out both the vert switch and the fog switch, got out the multi-meter, switched one wire, done

Which insert?and I know you have to cut the red and black wire on the foglights switch and replace it with the orange one from the convertible switch..but I can figure out how to get to it

ok so i got it done..thx for the links guys..i had some moments where i was like WTF??!! and i found out why they wouldnt turn on at first..............no fuse for the top..lol fail on my part...

I can just imagine the moment you had been waiting for to turn on your lights, and NOTHING?!..........

Bet you turned the lights on and back off to try it again incase something was wrong?

Did it include you walking up to the front of the car to confirm that they were not on?

This is why I use the multimeter and not internet instructions for the actual wiring, no surprises. Turn on lights and voila, they work!

lol i only did the first partlol didnt have to get out and check cause i was behind my moms car and just looked at the reflection lol

You should check to confirm ALL wires before you connect to them. Even while I was installing alarms and had all the books that told me all the wire colors YOU STILL CHECK EVERY WIRE BEFORE YOU CONNECT TO IT or you risk seeing the magical electronic smoke...
