fog light question!!!

i have a 94 and i tinted my fog lights yellow, and i want to drive around night time with just my fogs on but my headlights have to be on even if i only turn my dash lights on. my buddy has a 2000 and he can do it. any body know how to change that?

wire in the fog light switch with the power wire from the non-existant convertible top harness that is in the dash.

I hope you like getting tickets or causing accidents because driving at NIGHT with no headlights on only your fogs is dumb my foglights stay lit 100% of the time I drive my car because it's wired to the convertible top harness. When the sun goes down lights turn on.

No the foglight switch still functions. once you splice 2 wires into the convertible harness at that point it's all operated by the foglight switch, headlights on or off, even if your high beams are on they stay lit

As long as you wire them correctly the foglights will still work only if the headlight and fog switches are on just like OEM. Takes a whole 5 minutes to do. Your fogs will come on with parking lights only or headlights and will stay on with high beams on as well.

They also stay light without the parking lights, headlights, and high beams if you keep the switch turned on. Like I mentioned I keep mine lit 100% of the time, I never turn them off

same here. the fogs are on all the time. with or without the corners.

the vert sw harness is in the console. You'll be able to see it when you pull the box out.
just exchange the 2 hot wires and your set

And don't forget to cap off the second wire, I didn't do that and it kept grounding out popping a fuse....

Also not sure how your tinted lights will last over time but I bought 3000K bulbs in my fogs which have a nice yellow color

yes splicing 2 wires will allow you to turn on the fogs without any other lights... Just moving the wire will allow you to use them with sidemarkers.. Ive spliced too much crap on this car so I went against that option for the time being

Here guys, do it this way instead of splicing any wires. Swap the pin location and be done with it.
