The previous owner decided to wire up the fog lights with the headlights so that when the headlights turn on so do the fog lights. Then in accident I cut the wire giving power to the fog lights . Does anybody know what color wire on the fog light harness do I have to splice into to make them work again?

I dont know what wire I cut that messed up the wiring since now my fog lights dont turn on. What wires on the fog light switch would I have to check to see what cut the power to my fog lights?

I cut that certian wire coming from the center console leading up to the switch for the headlights. I checked the red/black wire at the switch for the fog lights and it wasnt missing any wire and the wire I cut was somewhat dark blue.

hmmm, hard to say without seeing it, and I've never had a working fog lights. Regardless I would try pulling up the center console to check out what wires are running to the foglight switch. From there try following them to the fuse box/where ever they end up going for any disconnects. If not I would try finding the 2 ends of the blue wire and just trying to re-solder them.

I'm by far no rocket scientist but why don't you just reconnect the wire/wires you cut and see if you problem is actually there... Obviously if you cut more that one do them 1 by 1 till you figure out the right one. Why were you hacking at wires any way? Also I've never had good luck with fog lights on our cars , seems like the bulbs blow if the wind blows the wrong direction. With that in mind check the bulbs to make sure they are even still good...

I don't understand. You cut a wire, and now can't figure out what to connect it too? AS he said reconnect the same wire. Teh factory sets it up so that the fog lights are only on with the headlights, and not with the high beams. It is an easy trick to swap a wire in the hrns that goes to the switch to allow them to come on with teh parking lights.

To remove the center consol. First pull all the little rubber squares that are under the flip up lid, then remove the screws below them. Lift out the center black portion where you store stuff inside and there are a couple of screws under it, Finally take out the shifter boot and there are two screws up there that connect the consol to the dash.
