oh wait. they may be installed backwards.... where the wiring harness gets stuffed into the fender from the engine-bay... not the fuse-box stuffed into the engine bay from the fender.
Either way, my point of my post was:
#1 - take off the plastic for more flexibility when moving/changing it around to your ideal position, then re-apply it.
#2 - dont worry about excess in the fender, no one can see it.
#3 - in reference to #2, look at the picture of my cluster **** I call a "wire tuck job" -- no one knows it looks like woman's closet in there.
