oh wait. they may be installed backwards.... where the wiring harness gets stuffed into the fender from the engine-bay... not the fuse-box stuffed into the engine bay from the fender.

Either way, my point of my post was:
#1 - take off the plastic for more flexibility when moving/changing it around to your ideal position, then re-apply it.
#2 - dont worry about excess in the fender, no one can see it.
#3 - in reference to #2, look at the picture of my cluster **** I call a "wire tuck job" -- no one knows it looks like woman's closet in there.

idunno. Don't matter now. If your doing a tuck more then likely you are putting in the panels to cover up the holes anyway.

that is what I am trying to figure out. Might be able to make another small canister in the fender to feed it in or something but I wasn't sure if anyone had got around it yet.

Scott i also ditched mine but locating a canister in the fenderwell will do ya. I dont drive in the rain so no wipers for me. Just do a little brainstorming and youll come up with something. Once you start getting rid of all the junk oem crap under the hood skys the limit as there is no right or wrong as long as you accomplish what your trying to do.
